What the evidence shows
No study links adrenal cleanses to cancer. Endocrinologists say "adrenal fatigue" isn't a real medical condition; a review of 58 studies found no consistent cortisol problem behind it. When researchers tested 12 popular "adrenal support" supplements (Mayo Clinic Proceedings 2018), all contained thyroid hormone and 7 contained steroid hormones, none listed on the label.
What to do
Skip adrenal cleanses and supplements. If you're always tired, especially during or after treatment, ask your doctor to check for treatable causes.
