  • Every food, myth and option has its own page

Each of the 144 rated entries now has a page you can bookmark, share or print, with its verdict, rung, evidence and sources. The drawer still opens from every list.

  • New Screening page

One page for which cancer screening tests are recommended, from what age and how often, for breast, cervical, colorectal, lung and prostate cancer, showing where guidelines differ.

    Cancer screening

  • Cervical screening: American Cancer Society guideline added

The Recommended cancer screenings entry now also gives the American Cancer Society’s cervical screening guideline (revised December 2025), which starts at 25, preferably with an HPV test every 5 years.

  • Rung 5 description corrected

Rung 5 said "Safe to act on". A rung measures how certain the evidence is, not safety, so it now reads "Worth acting on, with your doctor where treatment or screening is involved."

    How we score
